We are currently taking deposits for chick and hatching egg orders.

Hatching will be scheduled by pre-order, with limited availability of chicks on an unplanned basis. Deposits are required before eggs are put into the incubator, and are about 30% of the total price‍. ‍The balance for purchases will be due at the time of pick-up. Cash, debit or credit are accepted.

The Appenzeller Spitzhauben is a Swiss breed originating in the Appenzell region of Switzerland. They are a friendly, athletic and comical bird that loves to free range. Spitzhaubens are well suited to hot or cold climates. Though small birds, Spitzhaubens are good layers of small to medium white eggs. Sold as straight run (unsexed). Cannot be sexed until they are a few months old.

Hatching eggs can be mixed breeds. Just purchase individual eggs for what you like, the total pricing will be adjusted to half dozen or dozen pricing at the time of payment of the final balance.
