The Opal Crested Legbar is a lavender coloured legbar that carries a dilute colour gene. They are curious, charming and alert birds that are good foragers. Legbars are well suited to hot or cold climates. They are good layers of large blue eggs. We also have Cream Crested Legbars.

Autosexing breed - will be sold sexed. Straight run will be a 50/50 spilt at worst.

Pullets will not be available for pick up until July/August.

For live birds (chicks & pullets) - On farm pick up only.

For hatching eggs - my breeding pen is mixed Opal and Cream Crested Legbars with an Opal Rooster. Hatching eggs will be a mix of Opal and Cream Crested, with a higher probably of Opals hatching. On farm pick up & Shipping. Please contact us for pricing if you would like eggs shipped.
